Aleier Announces Major Upgrade of its FM1i INNOVUSTM Enterprise Asset Management System

New Capabilities Address Customers’ Mission Critical Operations

Plano, TX, (October 31, 2006) Aleier, Inc. today announced a major upgrade release of its FM1i INNOVUS ™ (V. 1.0.55) Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. Today’s release includes key enhancements designed to extend and refine the full spectrum of functionality supporting the company’s expanding customer base.

“With this release, we continue to respond to our customers’ evolving needs in fully managing all their capital assets for maximum life and productivity,” said Bill Caver, Aleier’s president. “And, with Aleier’s recent acquisition by RF Monolithics, we are accelerating enhancements of the FM1 family of EAM applications. With this FM1i INNOVUS V. 1.0.55 release, Aleier’s customers can use the application as a complete capital property management tool, manage legal asset documentation, and easily customize asset database properties.”

This major upgrade release adds the following major capabilities:

  • Enterprise-wide operation – Use the application more easily across a larger enterprise through the addition of multi-site database integration and management and organization structures for Regions and Sites.
  • Property management – Manage a broader array of an enterprise’s capital property through the added coverage for real estate, fleet vehicles, containers and linear assets.
  • Manage legal documents – Manage all the legal documents associated with assets through the addition of Legal Document modules covering leases, warranties, insurance policies, permits, asset appraisals, and incident or accident reports involving facilities, vehicles and equipment.

This latest release of FM1i INNOVUS also improves usability throughout the application. In addition to changing the overall appearance of the application, this release makes FM1i INNOVUS easier to use by:

  • Allowing users to print system reports from within any module,
  • Enabling active resource management by accessing workorder and schedule information directly from any asset display, and
  • Providing a new interface for managing security.

FM1i INNOVUS is Aleier’s foundation Enterprise Asset Management application. It is a web-architected application designed to operate in a modern web services environment, and provides a full set of EAM functions, including asset accounting, maintenance management, inventory and warehouse management, and human resource management. With FM1i INNOVUS, Aleier’s customers can connect to an unprecedented number of devices, applications, and assets. FM1i INNOVUS is based on Active Server Pages technology and runs on Microsoft’s relational database.

The new release of FM1i INNOVUS is available immediately to all existing customers of the product who have current maintenance contracts. FM1i INNOVUS was originally introduced in 2000 and has subsequently undergone several major version releases. Current customers of FM1i INNOVUS include a number of state, county and municipal government institutions.
